Tourism in the State of Bolivia, will be launching new activities in the municipality of the Province Huatajata Omasuyos Autonomous Department of La Paz on Sunday, September 26 with a big Fish Fair in his 6th. version.
Since 1980, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) celebrated World Tourism Day on September 27. This date was chosen as that day in 1970, which adopted the Statute of the World Tourism Organization. The adoption of these laws is considered a milestone in world tourism. The main purpose of World Tourism Day is to promote awareness among the international community of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic.
The date of the World Tourism Day is particularly appropriate because it corresponds to the end of the high tourist season in the Northern Hemisphere and the beginning of the season in the southern hemisphere, when tourism is currently the subject of hundreds of thousands of people around the world from all sectors of society, for tourists and in particular to the operational sector.
Huatajata Township, is the strategic place for tourism and for the conditions presented by this region and its inhabitants in 2009, by the importance of World Tourism Day, the Action Center has made the 1st Huatajata .
