The Territorial Unit Sancajahuira Township Huatajata, located 80 km from the city of La Paz, Navigation capital height and Tourism, held the feast of Our Lady of the Assumption of Mary, organized by the Association Sancajahuira folk group, the party began on Friday 13 culminating on Monday August 16, 2010.
The colors and the joy we experienced in all the groups, in blocks of men and women have distinguished the uniformity and choreography.
Interns and priests of the groups of Morenada, organized with great detail, all came out winners in this festival. The economy moves in this holiday is about more than half a million dollars.
This feast is celebrated on August 15 without CAD Sancajahuira, each year is increased participation of devotees in this festival, this year the groups were accompanying the Morenada: the Banda Imperial de Oruro , Banda Impact of Puno (Peru), Banda Operation Untouchables, Banda Mejillones Oruro, Banda Banda Super connection and Central Cocani, this is incorporated into the bands and orchestras that gave joy in the new municipality.
